Embedded Software recruitment
Embedded software recruitment
Embedded engineering sits where software meets physical product, and the talent pool is a fraction of the size of general software. Precision in the search matters more, because the population is smaller.

Market view
A smaller pool demands direct approach
In general software development a well-run advertising campaign will surface some credible applicants. In embedded it usually will not. The qualified population for a given combination of architecture, real-time constraint and regulatory domain may be a few hundred people in a country, and almost none of them are actively looking. Direct competitor headhunting is not a premium option here, it is the only method that works.
Domain context is also less transferable than clients often assume. Automotive functional safety, medical device regulation and industrial control each carry certification and process expectations that take time to learn. We agree at scoping which domain requirements are genuine constraints and which are preferences, which frequently widens a search that looked impossible.
